Reflecting on the UNDROP Consultation: Farmers'Right to seed Seed by AFSA ,April 27 2026
It was a profound privilege for*Congo for Agriculture (C4A) to participate in the *UNDROP Consultation organized by the Alliance for Food Sovereignty in Africa (AFSA) April 27th to April 27, 2026, we joined voices with leaders across the continent to advocate for Farmers' Rights to seeds—a fundamental pillar of food security and rural dignity.
This online gathering was far more than a simple exchange; it was a powerful convergence of experience and expertise. By participating in the AFSA campaign "Seed is Life, (24-26 April 2026" we reaffirmed our commitment to protecting the traditional knowledge and genetic heritage that sustain our communities.
On behalf of the entire C4A team, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to AFSA and all participants particularly, presenters Hakim and Prof Oche, for the fruitful speech and discussion. Together, we are ensuring that the heart of agriculture-the seed-remains in the hands of those who feed the world.
